FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas – Lt. Col. Terence Thibodeaux holds out his plate as Lt. Col. Steve Roberts dishes out a dinner roll during a Thanksgiving celebration hosted by the U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) chaplains Nov. 26 at Building 44. “This is an opportunity for us to come together to build up a spirit that unites us to accomplish a very good work,” said Col. Gary Studniewski, Army North command chaplain. Thibodeaux serves as an intelligence officer for Army North and Roberts is a chaplain.

Anthony Shiepko plays with his son, Gabriel, 4-months, as his wife, Jessica, joins in while they sing “America the Beautiful” along with the Soldiers and civilians in attendance for a Thanksgiving celebration hosted by the U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) chaplains Nov. 26 at Building 44. Shiepko is a medical logistician for the Army North surgeon’s cell. His wife, Jessica, serves as a data analyst for the Army Public health command.

Kerry Haynes, a chaplain with U.S. Army North (Fifth Army), delivers the keynote address during a Thanksgiving celebration hosted by the Army North chaplains Nov. 26 at Building 44. “You don’t have to go through a war or hardship to have Thanksgiving,” said Haynes, while speaking with those in attendance.
